North Carolina!

We had so much fun on our vaca! I was looking through all the pictures thinking about what I was going to write about and I think it's going to take more than post! Too many good picts and memories.
Ian flew into Lake Charles with Melissa a few days before me. So he got to hang out in LA for a couple days(while I worked.......) Then I flew into New Orleans. They picked me up and we were off! Well....to the hotel. I got in at around 1 a.m. So we got some sleep and then we were really off!

We drove from Louisiana. So......we got to drive through Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina. We made a few stops on the way of course.

This is in Destin, Florida. I thought it was awesome!

We stayed in Savannah, Georgia, which is the most haunted city in the US. We didn't see any ghosts, but I was still a little scared.......
Hours and hours of driving later(good thing we have a lot of fun together no matter what we are doing) we made it to our destination.
CAROLINA BEACH, NORTH CAROLINA!

We rented a beach house for the week. It was so nice to just relax, hang out at the beach, see the sights. We only had one mishap...... Ian got stung by a stingray!!!!!!!! Its was crazy! We thought he was faking a shark attack because we had been watching shark week on discovery. But NO. He said he has never felt pain like that in his whole life. And he is not a whiner or complainer.
So we googled stingray attacks. It said to rinse it and keep it in super hot water, scrape all the poison out with a credit card, and the pain will peak in 2-3 hours! This cooler was the only thing big enough for his foot. We kept boiling water and putting it in there. These pictures were right after it happened, so the pain hadn't "peaked" yet. A few hours later he was in so much pain. So we called the ER and they told us pretty much the same thing that google did. But she told him to take a benadryl. Which made him a little crazy! He never takes anything! So he was saying all sorts of crazy things! good times.

Chase was a great nurse. He really wanted to pee on it, but luckily for Ian that is only good for jellyfish stings!

This picture doesn't look that bad. The next day it was black and blue and swollen. And it just kept getting more black and blue as the week went on. He says his foot still feels weird. It was only our 2nd day there, too! But it didn't slow him down! He was back in the water the next day! crazy kid.
